Im trying to prevent the user from inputing negative values but every time I write the code and run the program it just puts parenthesis around the calculation result. If I put the variables equal to 0 instead of less than 0 the message box appears properly. This is what I have so far If (decLabor < 0) Or (decPartss < 0) Then
MessageBox.Show(”Input prices for parts and labor must be positive”)
End If
